Upcoming updates and blog re-launch

Well, it's been a long time since I've made an update. Life has been keeping me pretty busy lately and I haven't had much of a chance to post here or update the portfolio or anything.

That's all about to change though. I'm still planning on making the changes to the portfolio I mentioned below. That should be happening in the next week or two. As far as the resources section, it's still something I'll be doing, but it's going to take a while. It should hit this summer.

I've also re-launched the blog. I had a database error a while back that I couldn't fix, so I re-installed Wordpress. I'm taking the blog in a new direction, and I'm looking for other authors as well. Check out the details here.

That's it for now, but keep an eye out for the updates and I should be adding new pieces to the portfolio much more often. Til then...

Lack of updates and new portfolio piece

So, there's been a lack of updates recently. I've been pretty busy with lots of other stuff lately, so I haven't had the time to make an update here. Hopefully that'll change pretty soon so I'll be able to update a lot more.

Anyway, I actually have an update today. I've added a new piece to the portfolio.

Portfolio Additions

I've added some new photos to the portfolio. In the next few days or so, I'll be retooling the portfolio page. I'll be breaking things down into categories and implementing a few minor modifications.

I'll also be adding a resources section that will have stock photos and possibly vectors and other digital art. Look out for that by the end of next weekend. Well, that about wraps this update up.

I added a button, banner, and text link and the code to copy & paste for linking back to me. I figured I'd need a button and banner sometime, so I went ahead an created them. Check it out.

I recently designed a logo for a local surveying company here, Brown Surveying. It's still waiting for the final approval, but I got the OK to put it on the site. View it in the portfolio.

New portfolio piece and updated services

I've added a new piece to the portfolio. It's a photomanipulation made to look like photos overlaying each other to compose the image. It's also made to have a sort of vintage look to it.

I've also added photography to my currently available services. So if you need any kind of photo work or photomanipulations (which was already covered under graphic art/design) shoot me an e-mail and let me know what you need.

Officially Online!

The site is finished now and has officially launched! I'm really glad and excited that I've finished it. All the content and sections are running and working.

I'm aiming to add new additions to the portfolio at least once a week if not more. Keep your eyes peeled for that.

Check out the forums! Sign up and start posting if you're interested. I'm trying to get an awesome art/writing/creative community going. So give it a shot. It'll be fun. Promise. Well, that's all the news for now. The blog will have more about what's going on with me and the happenings in my life as well as reviews of stuff and all kinds of other crazy info.
